I’m delighted with my garden room which will be used as a therapy room, guest bedroom and teenage hangout. Tom took great lengths to make sure the design was exactly right for my needs and Adam and his team of builders did an amazing job of making my dream room a reality. This is an outstanding team that really does seem to care about the job that they do. From the outset, design details to the completion, they really have been a dream to work with. All the individuals in the team are craftsmen with the traditional values associated with that word. Any issues - and there are always issues and snags - have been dealt with promptly and they have been flexible with the payment schedule rather than rigid. The communication is good and if you cannot get hold of someone on the phone right away, it is because they are busy and focus on the work. They do respond asap. The individual members are all respectful and without prejudice which has not always been our experience before as a mixed race gay couple, good-humored and a joy. They just get on with the job and do it well.

Well deserved 5* service from beginning to end ! Tom's help with the design, planning application and throughout the whole process until completion was absolutely outstanding. Every question, concerns or requests were answered in a timely manner and to my full satisfaction. Once Adam and his team arrived the garden room was set up in no time. Despite a lot of (unexpected) extra work they had to do, there was no complain heard at any time. They are friendly, polite and very professional team of carpenters with a great eye to detail who did an excellent job. Other than the garden room they had to build a retaining wall, decking with a few steps down and a small wall at the front of the room. I'm glad I found Urban escapes and had the pleasure to work with them. The room is used as a 'shoffice' (shed/office) and sits perfectly well at the back of my garden. Highly professional and trustful company that deserve 10* out of 5.

A brilliant team led by Tom - we had a great experience working with them on our project. Even when circumstances conspired against us menaing we couldn’t go through with the final build it was a genuine pleasure dealing with them and we sorted out everything easily and professionally. 100% recommended and we will definitely try a new project if circumstances allow in the future.

All the team John, Ben and Adam were timely, conscientious and polite. Our garden studio was completed a few days ago and we are really pleased with the quality and look of the finished building. The build team were professional, hard working, friendly and reliable. The planning stage required a few alterations before we arrived at the final specification, but this was all handled really well by Nandini, including a site visit and CGI images allowing the internal and external space to be easily visualised pre-build. Would happily recommend to anyone looking for a quality garden studio or office.
