Customised Designs

We will work closely with you on designing the layout of your craft room to meet your requirements, from adding full length windows to allow lots of natural light in, to creating lots of accessible wall space for shelving & peg boards to create a space for suspended model desks or stand up desks with casements windows above giving you views to your garden while you create. Whatever your requirement we will get the best from your studio.

Unique Construction

The floor, walls and roof of your garden art studio will be constructed using structurally insulated panels (SIPs) which offer highly efficient thermal values and exceptional strength. The wall thickness is 100mm (subject to cladding type), making our studios warm in the winter and cool in the summer, with good sound-proofing.

For the foundation we use heavy-duty composite posts which are concreted into the ground, with a stainless steel frame bolted on which lifts the studio off the ground, leaving a breathable space, removing the risk of rising damp and condensation.

Full climate control

Our insulated garden rooms are constructed using SIP panels creating an envelope of insulation, and are also built with double-glazed doors & windows, keeping you warm in winter. We can supply wall panel heaters and underfloor heating which have a digital thermostat control enabling you to heat up your arts room from the comfort of your home, so it is ready for you to use when you walk in.

You’ll also need ventilation, especially in the summer months. We are able to provide air conditioning units to help you keep cool or upgrade you to bi-folding doors which open back, allowing in heaps of air and natural light.

Private WC

Our residential grade bathroom upgrades allow you to pop to the toilet easily throughout the day without getting distracted back at home

Kitchenette

We can also create a mini kitchenette for you to be able to take regular refreshment breaks easily

Multiple plug points

We provide a seamless build from start to finish, taking care of any studio lighting and electrical features as part of the process. Our garden buildings are fully-wired as standard with LED spotlights, and multiple plug points and floor sockets so you have the flexibility to move equipment such as sewing machines around if you want to.
Our team can also provide a quote for any bespoke lighting installations to create an ambient studio with lots of lighting.
