William, our customer, was looking to create an outdoor office space which was detached from his home. We built him a 4.2m x 2.6m garden studio with a blend of our simple yet contemporary Astana roof style and Abode window and door set up. The studio features 1.8m uPVC French Doors butted up to a 1.2m wide full height uPVC casement window allowing the studio to be flooded with natural light, and giving views to the outside scenery. These contemporary doors are made with double glazing & toughened glass with a high security locking system fitted.
The studio was clad in natural Western Red Cedar on the front and sides, and our highly durable ToughWood on the back in ‘cedar’ shade.
Internally the walls and ceiling in the studio were plastered and painted with two coats of white emulsion, finished with 100mm skirting board.
Ensuring the studio made the ideal contained home office we also installed 1.1m x 2.3m bathroom, with toilet and vanity unit featuring sink & hot water tap and splashback.
We also installed a little kitchenette space featuring 1m wide cupboards with drawers, along with worktop and splashback and sink.
To complete the studio we installed 6 LED spotlights, 4 double plug sockets and a 800w wall mounted panel heater to ensure William had all the necessities to use his new garden office day or night, winter or summer.
