Professional Garden Office For One
Jason works from home and was looking to create a garden office to separate work life from home life and to have space which would provide peace & quiet as well as privacy. So we designed and built him a compact 2.4 x 3.8m garden studio nestled into the garden replacing an old summer house.
This is a great example of how garden rooms can still be suited to compact gardens. This was built just 50cm from the fence on the left of the garden.
The exterior of the studio was clad in ToughWood ‘Weathered Oak’ and features a 2.4m by 2m decking area with composite decking onto a treated deck frame. To provide views of the garden and plenty of natural light to come in the garden the studio features 1.8m wide French doors as well as a full 1.2 by 1m picture window and 600x600mm top hung window.
Internally the studio features 6 LED spotlights and 2 up/downlighters either side of the French Doors. The studio was constructed with our unique structurally insulated panels ensuring it stays warm and dry all year long, for extra warmth in winter we installed a white 1000w panel heater. As well as internet connection running from the studio to a router in the main house enabling him to work easily from the garden studio.
